About Denoise.ai

Denoise.ai performs image denoising using a convolutional neural network which can determine which parts of an image correspond to signal and which parts correspond to noise. The network was trained on thousands of examples of resonant and galvano confocal data and is capable of removing noise from this type of images in real time (when run via NIS-Elements).

In confocal microscopy, the main component of noise is the shot noise which is the result of discreet sampling and digitizing of photons emitted from the sample. When light levels are low (as is often the case) the uncertainty of this process is high.

With Denoise.ai, you can acquire high-quality images faster than ever before. You can also use it to significantly improve quality of your existing low-signal images.
